Rep. Bob Good behind state Sen. Jen Kiggans as votes are counted

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — The political future of House Freedom Caucus Chair Bob Good is coming down to the final votes.
Good, an arch-conservative whom former President Donald Trump is trying to bump out of Congress for disloyalty, trails his GOP challenger, state Sen. Jen Kiggans, as votes are counted.
With about 95% of precincts reporting, Kiggans led Good by about 2,500 votes, or 51% to 49%.
Good was one of the first members of Congress to object to the certification of President Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory. He has repeatedly made false claims about the election being stolen from Trump.
